matters, such as land-use issues with governmental
authorities, arrangements with neighboring property
owners, establishing common interest projects and

income-producing property and tenants in all kinds
of leasing transactions, including deals involving
major retail tenants. We frequently assist with the
organization and capitalization of property owning
entities such as partnerships and limited liability
companies.
Finance
Nevers, Palazzo, Maddux & Packard's lawyers have
substantial experience representing lenders and
borrowers in matters in which the main collateral is
real property. These transactions include
construction loans, conduit and securitized loans,
mezzanine financing, loan syndications and
participations, mortgage banking transactions
involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicers,
letters of credit, preferred equity, convertible and
participating debt and debt and equity workouts. Our
finance experience involves all kinds of real
property.
Affordable Housing
The firm regularly represents developers, financial

bankers and servicers in transactions for the
financing of affordable housing with municipal
bonds, low-income housing tax credits and other
housing incentives and programs.
